Samuel W. Miller, Esq.

Samuel W. Miller, Esq. is a seasoned attorney at The Law Offices of Geoffrey T. Mott, P.C., and is the Senior Associate for the New York office. Admitted to the New York State Bar in April 1984 and to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in June 1990, Samuel brings decades of legal expertise to the firm.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America School of Law in Washington, D.C., after completing his undergraduate studies at Colgate University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Throughout his career, Samuel has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in various areas of law, including landlord-tenant disputes, civil and real estate litigation, real estate transactions, tax certiorari, contracts, and estates. His extensive experience includes drafting and negotiating contracts, preparing legal documents, participating in hearings, trials, and settlement conferences, and acting as an arbitrator and court-appointed referee.

Before joining The Law Offices of Geoffrey T. Mott, P.C. in May 2020, Samuel practiced law at the Law Office of Samuel Miller in Lynbrook, New York, for nearly three decades as a solo legal practitioner, and has conducted arbitration hearings and acted as Part 36 Court appointed Referee. Samuel's broad legal background and commitment to his clients make him a valuable asset to our firm, specializing many areas of law including Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Tax Certiorari, Contracts, Wills and Estates, Matrimonial, Worker’s Compensation and Criminal Defense.
